Wednesday the 4th of September, the committee went to Kamishli, where they met representatives of the Syrian people and the Syriac Orthodox Chruch. Later on, they visited the current projects of the foundation.
The bagproject of the foundation has been working great. The activity is growing, as planned. Nowadays the bagproject has about 20 employee, but they will probably increase to about 60 employee, in the future. The goal of the activity is to let the poor people earn some money.
The sewing project has unfortunately not been growing as planned, because reduced demand. The local committee will solve this problem by confirming the production according to the market.
the SHF has about 80 godchildren and goal is to increase that number. Why the foundation need more godfathers and support in Sweden! |
